Happy Halloween

On Halloween the plan was to get a pizza and watch a scary movie in the evening (Which ended up being Casper from 1995- which is my preference of "scary"). On the way home we saw that our neighbors down the street had set up a table with bagged treats for kids to come pick up. Ryan mentioned that we should do that too. We thought it would be so cute and fun to have a table out with an orange table cloth, a cauldron filled with dry ice, and halloween colored lights strung around the table.

Of course I had none of those things.

Normally I am incapable of putting something together if I haven't already planned it all out in advance because I feel like it needs to be done well or not at all. But this time I decided I would just do what I could and that would be enough. I grabbed a bunch of candy, put it in zip locks, and set all our Halloween decorations on a table.

We handed out candy to the sweetest little trick or treaters in our neighborhood, then went inside and left the table out until after 9. For me it was proof that something is better than nothing and things don't have to be perfect to be fun!

Now I'm ready for Christmas Time ;)
