Granola –

1. cereal made of especially rolled oats with dried fruits and nuts and honey or brown sugar

2. An adjective used to describe people who are environmentally aware (flower child , tree-hugger), open-minded, left-winged, and socially aware

Indie-

1. A pop group not affiliated with a major record company

2. Usually late teens to mid twenties. A name often used for an artistic individual who thinks, and sincerely cares about issues one wouldn't find in the mind of most adolescents. A rare breed.

Hippie-

1. a person who was raised under the ideological system that came out of the tumultuous 1960's in North America and western Europe.

2. One who possess a core belief set revolving around the values of peace and love as being essential in an increasingly globalized society, and they are oftentimes associated with non-violent anti-governmental groups.

Hipster-

1. a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter.

2. cross-applied from the 1930s Beatniks. The modern hipster is a composite of individuals with a certain bohemian life situation and lifestyle.

Bohemian-

1. a Gypsy; a member of a people with dark skin and hair who speak Romany and who traditionally live by seasonal work and fortunetelling

2. Someone who tries to live by the ideals of truth, freedom, love, and all those beautiful-sounding concepts.

3. Movement of artist and poets in late 19th century France, especially in Paris. Bohemians believed in living outside of the bourgeois (conventional, middle class) mainstream culture.

i consider myself to be an idealist, optimist, and a prospering environmentalist. and yes, Freedom, Beauty, Truth, and Love are what i live by! thank you moulin rouge
