Fourth of July

The Romero family came to visit for the 4th of July!

We wore masks everywhere but took them off for photos. I actually think we should have kept them on to better remember the time for what it really was! We got the yummiest boba drinks and had all the fun we could over the long weekend. I am so grateful for times like these.

The thing I love about family is they get to see you at your worst, and still choose to love you. We practice grace with one another. I have surprised myself at the vulnerability I have showed to my in-laws over the last four years. I am amazed that they choose to not only tolerate me, but fully embrace and love me through my strengths and weaknesses. That is what families do.

Utah

I have managed to fly more during the Covid pandemic than I normally do. Woops!

This has been a good time for me to learn to be okay with others not approving of me. I had a good reason for going back to Utah and I'm sticking with that.

Thankful

Lately...

I got to co-host a "socially distanced" baby shower for my lovely cousin which is a blessing that comes when two relatives just happen to move to The Bay at the same time. I have been outside almost daily soaking in the sun, and some times the clouds, and I just feel blessed in general.

Family Time

Memorial Day Weekend 2020

Amid the slowness of sheltering in place, we decided to go back to Utah for a long weekend. It was amazing to see our families. I am so excited for the time to come when I can hug people again without feeling shame and worry.
