Easter

The sunshine hat these last few days have brought has been so refreshing. The world feels BIG again. The air is warm and clear. School is ending soon. Mission papers are being started. I feel the weight of the world upon me so much every day that I tend to run away. But Spring is helping me to cope. I can do this. I can.

And nothing helps life feel lighter like Easter Sunday. I got to attend the beautiful Ms. Sarah Bell's farewell and partake of her sister's heavenly cake bites afterwards. So there was that. Then I went to my grandma's house just like every year, followed people around with my camera as expected, and laughed  with the whole family like I always do.

It was grand. Speaking of grand, I have been teaching my sister how to speak French. She now refers to me as "grande soeur", herself as "petite soeur", and her dad as, "PEAR". It cracks me up. She is so cute.

This is an Easter tree.

Sarah looking dapper as always.

My mother is the most beautiful creature to ever exist. I love this woman.

Trin took her hair out the second we stopped taking pictures. She is a rugrat.

My Missionary

While I'm here I want to do a quick missionary update because I've never done that before. Ryan is just the cutest. He's just so great. But the real reason for this update is that he sent me a photo wearing a tie I got him! And doesn't he look SMASHING in it?

Maybe someday I will make a cute collage of our letters and post something profound about them. He has been gone for nine months now, which is crazy. He has been in Dunwoody for forever and the people there love him! Every time I receive a letter in the mail it is like Christmas and my whole day is just so much better. It's amazing how great it feels to have someone supporting you through life even if only through letters and emails.

Cheers to nine months of missionary work Ryan.

Lovely Moments

Lately I've just been taking out all my stress by editing old photos when I'm not able to be at the gym...They need a purpose. So this page will be that purpose.

Get to know ME!

Fabulous news...I just redesigned my blog for the first time in 4 years! New title, new color theme, new ideas. And because of that, I want to make a 'me' post. This is so anybody who chooses to read my blog can know who I am in a nutshell BEFORE they take a look into the deepest crevices of my brain.

Here we go.

My name is Lennyx Jade Hatch. I love that name and I'm pretty proud of it.

I am a daydreaming college student constantly bouncing from idea to idea about where I want to live and what I want to be.

I thoroughly enjoy physical exercise of ALL kinds. My favorites being running, yoga, and hiking. I love love love aerobics as well as anything that I can do out doors.

On that note, I am on a quest for health. I love raw foods and try (though I often fail) to make them the main portions in my diet!

In my education, my favorite place to be is in the French classroom. I am a 4-year French student with an upcoming study abroad to FRANCE on this Summer's happening list. Oui, c'est vrais faux! (I'm actually now preparing to serve a full-time mission so France will have to wait awhile longer.)

My family is absolutely everything to me. And when I say family I mean parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They made me who I am and are the ones who will always be there.

I am a member of the LDS Church and my life-style is directly related to that statement. My Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are also absolutely everything.

Simply put, I love good conversation, mountains, color, language and being free.

Welcome to my blog (:
